Hey All,
I haven't posted much on here so I figured I would share some of my fun.

Water is reaching temps quickly hear in Montana and the bass fishing is heating up!
Oh and the bears are filling out quickly. Had a great weekend fishing Western Montana!

NavyDan, That's a nice smallie! The smallie bite has really turned on for us as well.  My fishing partner made a road trip to your neck of the woods and really hammered them.

It's good to hear! There are several good bites going on right now, it's just a matter of figuring out which one you want to chase.

We have the same. Smallie's in the river have really turned on. We have a few LMB spots that are producing. Although the pike don't seem to be running the river as well as last year.

I'm originaly from greatfalls. I think the pike ran early. Caught a few tanks in the mo below the dam but it was short lived. They didn't run up here at all this year. Crazy weather.

Great Falls! We should try to hook up. We'll fish anywhere. I don't think the pike really ran at all here. I was talking to the biologist and he seems to think that it's water flow issue due to a lack of runoff. There are some big ones in the river but few and far between. So far this year, we have only 2 pike between us. Its nothing like last year,we caught pike all spring and summer w/ the best being 39". I'm a little disappointed although the smallies have been on fire the last 2-3 weeks.
