Went out to Hagg with a buddy I was introducing to yakfishing and to check the water temps for the safety clinic that has been postponed (more info to follow). It was a nice day on the lake although the wind kicked up real well in the afternoon. Water temp was a very pleasant 72 on the surface and 70 degrees 20' down. It should be perfect for water practice for the next month or so. Caught two good trout and a little smallie. I'm starting to hate that fish measurer as the fish all shrink when I measure them. That 14" trout was really nice and both were fat. The pics don't do them justice. Nonetheless it was a very nice day.

FFTW,

Nice fish! That's about the size of the Rainbows and Cutthroats I have been catching in Woahink lately. Great size for filleting boneless and frying up. Have a great dinner and thanks for sharing the photos.

That trout does look like a fatty!  They must be eating good.
