Hello all,  I've been lurking for a month or so and finally joined up.  I'm  64yo post chemo and wanted a new hobby for the good weather (something to do besides mowing grass).  I got my first yak a few weeks ago.  Demo the Hobie sport, revo 11 and outback at  Scappoose and decided on the Revolution because it of it's weight and ease of loading on my Toyota Tundra by myself.  I haven't done much fishing in the last  forty years, but have tried trout fishing at Coffenbury lake in Fort Stevens.  Looking forward to hitting most the sloughs in the lower Columbia area.  These forums are a wealth of knowledge and I greatly appreciate it.  Thanks to you all.

 howdy Queeg,

I come down to Astoria several times a month from Raymond.
Maybe we can get together and rip some lips down your way this summer.
You are gonna like this new "hobby". Much better than mowing the yard.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Welcome I'm new here to. And retired. I drop a line at  Coffenbury sometimes when I go to Costco. See you on the water.

Welcome to the forum! I recently purchased a Revo from Scappoose bay too, and I love fishing from it.

Hello yakkers!

I'm new to this forum- my fiancé has a Revo 13 which is sooo much fun.

I'm looking for deals on used kayaks. Let me know if you see some eye catchers.

Thanks and happy fishing!
