All right....so next time I'm taking my small rod and tiny hooks so I'll catch a fish.  Seems when I'm out trying to catch big ones with my heavy gear ..no fish.  But when I just fart around with my light gear I slay them.

Do I get an award for first starfish caught in the tourney?  If not...I'm making my own up to make myself feel better
No matter how many times the PB's tell me I'm nuts....I still smile every time I out fish them

It was great getting together, and meeting some of you!  Next time I'll make sure I can stay the full two days.  I'm glad you guys were able to assist Tom when his yak got in trouble...sounded like he battled it out on the water for awhile.

I'll upload a photo of my catch if I can figure out a way to upload it somewhere on a govt computer...not the easiest since they block most websites.  If I remember correctly I got a 30.5" and a 28" on Saturday.

What if we tried another get-together mid-July?  We wouldn't need any prizes, just bragging rights on who caught the biggest 'butt be good enough!

Well I just got back from Homer with my tail tucked between my legs. I did not catch a halibut or a king and the sculpin did not count. I am usually that "guy" with the magic fish charm that everybody is asking how I did it but I must have ran over a black cat wearing a mirror on the way down. I fished next to people who caught them using the same type of bait and hook set but nothing. My wife came with me and she was starting to blame herself as bad hoodoo but I know different. Hey even a guy in the Bible didn't catch anything until he cast his net on the other side of the boat so I know it's faith and finding the right side of the yak.  Any way I had a great time meeting new folks and it was pretty good seeing the propel fleet grow. I may try again next Friday through Sunday but maybe not as my wife and I are flying to Texas and Mexico for a week or so. I will be back on the salt as soon as I get back to regain my fishing prowess. Last of all , that F'N Rudy.

Lol Rod.  You burned some mojo on the 105 pounder last year!  it'll come back!

Ok I must be tired.  Copy and paste my leader board and fix it to what you think it needs to be. I must have names confused too...argh.

Ok.  First things first. a few DLSR pics.  I have to full size raw images too if anyone wants them.

OK,  the other vids are way more low res than I realized.  Sorry.

Here's a HD video of my biggest fish with a few still shots.  Made it more for other audiences.  lol.
