Hey guys I am a complete newbie when it comes to forum stuff, but here is my introduction to NWKA. I am a recent transplant from Utah to Washington; I have been in the Tri-Cities for over a year now. I currently own an Oldtown Predator MX kayak, and fish try to fish on a weekly basis. I have been in the sporting goods industry for nearly 13yrs, and have an passion for all types of angling.

welcome,  It's good to have another Tri Citian here.  I think I met and talked with you at the sporting goods store.  If you'd like to go fishing some time look me up.

I been in the lake in the area but I want to go out in the open water for halibut or river for a salmon I don't know the area around Washington you know any good spot? I also have a sail (pacific sail) on this kayak but I probably need to register the kayak if I wanted to use a sail or trolling motor like torqeedo any info would be very helpful.

you probably will want to post the question on the main board. There are a lot of guys with open water info, and yes you will have to register it if you put a motor on it.
