I went down below the Dalles bridge yesterday.hooked 5 shad landed 4. Caught 3 smaller males and a 19 inch female which was the doubled up with a 8 inch small mouth.
4th place 2017 TBKD Rockfish.

Ha! Nice. My biggest so far this year is 20", but it was a male  ??? I haven't gotten a single female this year.

I knew I had a shad right off the bat but when I could see the fish my line was doing weird things and was like wtf lol.then about 20ft out I saw why.

I was running a ⅛ egg sinker ahead of a 3 way swivel then a dropper to a shad killer and the other to some beads. cast,sink,swing,dangle,bam!
