i was on my 1st trip to Alaska last month where I saw people fishing from kayaks in Cook Inlet. Intrigued, I went online for more info. Somehow I came across one of 84s you tubes and was hooked. Today I ordered my 1st yak, a Trident 13. Can't wait to get it on the water next weekend. My thanks go to to Kardinal 84 and all who participate on this forum for sharing their experiences , good and bad, for beginners such as myself to learn from.

    Amazing as it may seem

A lot of folks on here could say the same.

Thanks for all you have done Rudi-san.

And keep it coming my friend , many adventures ahead.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

I agree I had the pleasure of fishing last Saturday with rudy it was my first time kayak fishing in Alaska. He took some cool pictures and gave me some good advice I don't think I will ever be able to thank him enough.

You are more than welcome!!! I could never be a guide. But when I do it for fun there's a little less stress. I've always gotten more out of watching others, especially first time folks catch a fish they might of thought impossible a short while back.

Thank you guys for not thinking I'm nuts and giving it a go. But PLEASE be safe!!!! Though safe I think it's inherently a tad more dangerous than sitting on a couch. I'd have a really hard time if anyone ever got hurt.

Also remember as always there is a price. The cook inlet board of fish mtg are in 2017. Let's all put our collective thinking caps on and get a few regulations more "human powered friendly".

Love the way the Alaska group is growing!  C'mon, Let's Fish!!!!!!
