I found myself down in southern Oregon today and was lucky enough to get out to Selmac lake.  This place is a "trophy" bass lake.  Meaning that you can only keep one bass of any size according to the sign at the launch.

This lake is very kayak friendly and small so you can cover/fish the lake in one day.  There is a 5 buck day use nearly around the entire lake.

Ended up with 20+ largemouth bass.  Nothing of any trophy size,  most were under 12 inches and the biggest being 16 inches.  The go to techniques was a buzz bait top water over the weeds and a wacky rigged senko worm next to the weed line.  The theme for the day was weed line!

Very beautiful place for sure!

Thanks for the report. I fished it a couple times last summer and had about the same results. I did see one nice 4-5 lber swimming around. It is a nice place. I had a camping spot right on the water the first time, rented a yurt the second trip. The only negative was they type of people that were there both times. Screaming at their kids all day, leaving trash everywhere. Im sure its not like that all the time though.
