So as part of an Air Force Language program, I will be making a 15 minute video presentation on Alaska kayak fishing targeting Halibut.  This video will be shown to  Air Force leaders in and around the pentagon and the AFCLC, on a live stream. Oh, and it will be fully in Dutch.

Does anyone have any concern if I use NWKA as a source of information?  I'd love to use photographs and/or your videos, with your permission.  I'd ensure you got credit at the end of the video.

I'd be working on this project over the next 4 months on my off-hours, and it will be presented on November 2nd.

It's good to see that the U.S. Air Force may finally be developing an appreciation for the strategic importance of Alaska's Halibut reserves.  Giving the presentation in Dutch is almost a good as classifying it as "secret," so Alaska's kayak fishermen don't need to worry that the presentation will provide foreign powers (other than the Dutch) or motorboat fishermen with an unfair advantage in catching Halibut.

I don't think you'll find any objections to that on this site. Sounds cool!

Thanks for the support, everyone!  Rudy, I think you might have the largest collection of Alaskan fish porn...so I will hit you up for that down the road.

LOL - Halibut... 'butt ... porn.   Conjures up some rather non-related unsavory connotations... nuff said.

No objections at all, I think anyone who posts to a public'ish forum is going to be ok with sharing with dutch speaking military establishment.

Having said that if a bunch of radar stealthed camo kayaks show up at whiskey gulch ... we'll know who to track down!

This was the only way I could get my wife to come out on the water with me...trick her into being the camera operator. I'll turn her into a fish addict yet!

She enjoyed California lakes on her Hobie when it's 90+ degrees...but Alaska scares her.  Does anyone know a place in Anchorage that sells paddle drysuits? I need to get her fitted

That's a great way to get her out. It's one of the reasons I'm taking my ten year old out. To show its safe and anyone can do it.

AK raft and kayak has a bunch.
