I took everyone's suggestion and contacted ODFW via email.  They (Lynn Mattes) responded right back telling me that they have several different sets of fish ID cards and that they are available any time at the ODFW's offices at the Hatfield Marine Science Center campus south of the bridge in Newport.  But since we won't be in that area for a while, she wrote that she would send some out via snail mail to us.
This will come in handy when we head over to our winter stomping grounds in Garibaldi.  After chasing salmon around the bay, we'll hit up some bottom fishes in the jetty area.
Happy fishing!

The ODFW put this out this year (or it's the first time I noticed it). It includes the new rules and the most popular groundfish species. It's a great chart.

That is a great chart, I don't think I've seen it.  Might need to laminate that.
