Went out to Goose lake today.  It was my first time on the lake, and after reading a lot of stellar reviews online I needed to give it a go.  It was a hike to get out to, but well worth it.  I left early enough to be on the water by 6:30, level was low, and it seemed too warm.  The far side of the lake has some streams feeding it and a big spring that leaves one small area downright ICY!  Started off pitching whatever dries were handy to some cutts, then as I worked my way to the cooler weedier shallows got into some brooks and even one small brown...  Stayed just past noon.  I'd definitely make a weekend of it sometime...
