I had a great time with my Trident 13. Since I work out of town I usually have my evenings and every other weekend free for fishing and the kayak has been with me everywhere I've been all summer.
I'm new to the sport but so far I have been fortunate to have fished with the Trident in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, and Utah catching cutthroat, rainbow and brown trout, walleye, northern pike, small mouth and large mouth and a crap load of crappies.
My wife does't fish but I bought her a yak so she can join me yet paddle off on her own doing photography or just getting some sun and exercise.
This site has been a great inspiration and resource and one of these days I hope to be tech savvy enough to share some pictures.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

Amik, welcome. I am now into my 5th year of doing this and also from Trident kayaks. Likewise, my wife has her own kayaks and has paddled around doing photography and getting exercise. I should caution you that, one day, she may feel like picking up a fishing rod and then this sort of thing starts taking place....

...then you will feel totally emasculated.

Welcome to the forum.   I used to catch fish, now I just take pictures.  ;D
Can't wait to go take pictures in Tillamook Bay or Nehalem...there's gotta be a 40+ pound salmon that wants to be in pictures.

C Run great picture. I'm going to show this to the wife, and who knows after 25 years of marriage she just might give it a try.
