I'm planning a paddle down the Cedar river today from a ways above the Maplewood golf course.  I recall a nasty log jam not far up, that ya gotta exit and walk around, a real mess.  Anyone have info on where?  Is it upstream of Ron Regis park?  Plan to launch at that park, want to further upstream, but not above that bad boy log jam.  Plan to pull out at small a ways below Liberty park, maybe Jones Park?  Last time we went all the way to Lake Wa. and it was too far on boring flat water.   I know by Carco theater is a good pullout, want to go further.
