Does it work for a hummingbird or lowrance? I own one already, I just haven't been able to locate for the last year or so

yes, it'll work with most of lowrance and humminbird's gps-equipped products.

So it should run on a hummingbird 587 no problem? Is it safe to assume it will also run on the brand new models too?
