Got My Jig Back!!

Broke off a jig while setting the hook on a nice fish. I tie on and drop down another jig and what do I catch?

That's crazy! Nice video. One time I caught someone else's tiny little lead sinker right through the eye and I thought that was crazy!

That's excellent.  Had a similar thing happen with a nice halibut.

I had a similar situation earlier this summer fishing for tuna. I was slammin em on a jig - the only damn jig i had - while my friends were using live bait. After 4 or 5 fish I finally break off, and I was bummed b/c it was the only damn jig I had and I was having such a blast catching em that way. But, it was my fault b/c during the wide-open bite I was too lazy to retie my leader. So I tie on a chovy rig, catch a few. Maybe 20-30 minutes after breaking off my buddy gaffs his fish, brings it on deck and yells "hey - this fish has a jig in its mouth!" Sure enough...it was mine. Cut off my chovy hook, tied on my jig and got back to business.

That cabby had a appetite.that's a cool recovery!

sweeeeet!  never seen that I don't think. I've had on a two occasions have a halibut and coho get hooked on two separate rods at the same time but this is new! 

Is it me, or does anyone else have dyslexia to some degree and see "I got my Big Jack" in the title and then click on it thinking you are going to see Rawkfish holding up some big "Jack"? 

Damn, my eyes are screwing with me.
