Hi Everyone
My name is actually Mark. The ddancers comes from the fact the wife and I do a lot of dancing.
I,m a retired application developer and love fishing, dancing, playing pool, cruising, and even at my age computer gaming. I,m a member on many forums, because unlike most I have a lot of free time, and enjoy talking fishing and sharing ideas.

This is actually my second hello, the first was an attempt to share something l believed would be well received and helpful. However some may believed otherwise, and so I decided to remove it.
So instead I,m entering it a little differently. I came upon this forum when I was searching for lead core info, and read a discussion on how to determine depth. In discussion a member mentioned how he used the device call Fish Hawk to chart the actual depths at any speed. It was an interesting read, I totally agree that this is a great tool and wanted to offer the same insight and mention if you haven,t done search on lead core lately I recommend you do so, new stuff is out there that you might find  useful. I myself was able to create a depth calculator for core using the Fish Hawk. I,m 68 now and have fished from canoes, kayaks, walk arounds, and now a pontoon because the wife feels more at ease.

So Hello fellow fishermen/fisher women.  I recommend that you read post from all forums not just those center around kayaks. There is a lot of good info out there. If however this site is intended for kayak boating only please let me know.
Every forum has its own set of rules and I try to respect them.
I also enjoy dancing and if you do to, I have a site where I share some of our moves.

Have a great day fishing.

Sorry -Tinker my previous post was not a product in my eyes. For over 15 years I,ve tried to come up with a depth solution, and I view what I,ve done as an accomplishment.  I like to think that if someone comes up with something they believe is useful, that they will post it. My primary reason for joining was to do just that. It,s hard to believe that can be view as negative, but if I,ve offended anyone I surely apologize.

Are you here to learn about fishing from a kayak in the Pacific Northwest, or just here to spam us about your product?

If it's the first, welcome.  If it's the latter, well... I'm embarrassed for you.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.
