Anyone looking to thin out their herd?

I just sold my boat and have also fished out of a Malibu Mini-x for seabass, lings, dungies & tidal coho. I'm looking to fish bigger salt water this year (Westport, Neah Bay, etc.) and need something longer & faster. My budget is $500.00. Is that even realistic? Lol. My ideal yak would be a 12-14' OK, Wilderness Syst. or Malibu. I would love a Hobie but they are definitely out of my league price wise. Would be willing to spend a little more for one with fish finder/transducer already set up. Thanks.

I don't think you'll find much in that price range. Maybe an older tarpon but I think you're still going to be off 200-300 bucks. If you push your budget to 800-1000 you could pick up something like a T13.

That sounds like exactly what you're looking for. I'd buy that fast before it's gone!

Nice looking fishing machine. I'm thinking frantically. I also have a bead on an almost new T13 with a rudder ( but no fish finder/gps). Nice to have options... Doing my research.

You most likely won't need a rudder on the T13.  It tracks great on it's own, but steers great with just a paddle. 

However, the T11 tends to need a rudder to track straight as it is on the shorter side.
The ol' T15 can use the help of a rudder for steering it's long body.

That is a good deal. I love my t15 a couple years newer than this one with the same finder. Many a fish has come into that boat.
