Kayak Fishing Clinic: Tips, Tricks, Accessories and Features

Bring your buddies and learn about some of the basic features of fishing kayaks and get yourself set up for success on your next fishing trip. River, lake or ocean? Standing, sitting or maybe a bit of both? We’ll help you find the right hull shape for you and make sure to point out everywhere you could screw or glue any rod holder, gadget or gizmo under the sun onto your kayak. This is a great opportunity to check out some of the newest designs from Jackson Kayak, FeelFree, Current Designs and Eddyline!

Come ‘geek out’ with us at Alder Creek this winter!  As a service to our paddling community, we want to invite you out for our FREE Community Clinic Series.  For years now, local experts, guest speakers, and Alder Creek staff have teamed up to provide these free, informative, and interactive clinics on Tuesday evenings starting in December through the winter and early spring. 

Ninkasi Brewing has joined in the fun this season!  They have generously donated some of their finest brews to enjoy each evening, so treat yourself and take in some knowledge with other fun people at either our Boathouse or Jantzen Beach shops.  Bring a friend or the whole family.  The more the merrier!!!  It’s all free.  No registration required.
