Couldn't find this question discussed since 2008, but I'm sure it's out there. Hoping that there's a good solution to minimize gear proliferation. Maybe a YakAttack Zooka Tube mounted to my track with a 2 point base (Stealth or Mighty Mount)? A Scotty Orca or Folbe Advantage?

Thanks!
Dave

I like the Folbe, primarily because off the locking base. I've never had my rod holder inadvertently release from the base.

I use the Zooka Tube and I love it. It's great for trolling and works well for my spinning rods too.

Once I figured out how to use the Orca it became my primary holder. I have it on a double-extension mounted right in front of me. Stays out of the way of my paddle, I can drop the paddle in my lap and grab the rod quickly, and I know it is secure. Works great with my Predator open deck, I'm gonna have to find a new approach with my Outback, but only after giving the built-ins a genuine fair crack at the job.

Two hinge points lets me put it at any angle or distance I need. At the top is another Scotty socket so I can point the road in any direction, too.

I'm going to look at these new stealth jobs as well.

Zooka tubes behind the seat will hold any "inactive" rods out of the way yet within reach.
