Yea. I think mine would be out of that so fast it would make my head spin.  Probably try to find a men's medium

I agree.  He will get one more year out of it...maybe.  Fortunately I bought a men's medium Hydrus 3L  for my daughter that so far has gone unused.  I got both at a really good price so I went for it.  A tad big for her (almost 14y/o).  It's no big deal to get them too large...as long as the wrist gaskets (and sorta the neck) isn't too big.

NICE!!!!!! I definitely want to gear a comparison for our waters from someone who has both the propel and mirage drives. I'm a hobie guy but the price point of the propels is hard to beat.

Well... Normal price is 2500.00.  At normal pricing I would probably get a hobie but time will tell.  As I don't fish structure and just wanna fish halibut mainly the ole reverse thing doesn't impact me.

Pretty interested in trying it out soonish. Lol

You can try mine out after the tourney if you'd like.

You may be suprised...the reverse actually comes in handy when you're drifting and you mark a fish. You can stop immediately and/or backup till you find the fish again. It also comes in handy when you're beach landing and you are trying to get your timing right when it's wavy.

Are you going to tell everyone what you actually paid? When I called it was the same price I got mine for, unless the girl was wrong. Yes you will enjoy the reverse more than you think. Even when fighting the fish and he makes the down and back run.

Sure... I paid 1566.  Quality seems pretty good, propel drive is heavy heavy.  I do like the carry handles.  Going to have to sort out a cart for it, hopefully just find a way to adapt one of my hobie carts to it or something.  Just from a side by side comparison, I feel like it's a different animal than a hobie. All my hobies have good interior access for storage and the like, while interior access seems more limited with this one.  I don't think it's a big deal for day trips but I am unsure with the other options I'm lucky enough to have that I would opt to take it out on a multi day camping/fishing trip somewhere. Day trips out of whiskey gulch or the spit would be ideal I think.

The girl was wrong then. She said it got marked down again. You will enjoy it. We should run into each other over the next month.

It's going to be more of the family spare boat I think unless the HighEndHippie likes it enough to claim it herself.  Just needed more seats.  I'll definitely take it out here and there I would expect. Most likely local lakes when I don't want to deal with the trailer and the adventure island.
