A head's up to anyone in the Seattle/WA area next weekend May 7th and 7th is the NorthWest Paddling Festival at Lake Sammamish state park. This is an awesome opportunity to try a ton of different boats, attend some clinics, and just talk paddling and fishing with like minded folks.

If you are looking at getting into the sport, I can't stress how important it is to demo as many different brands and models as possible is before you drop some hard earned coin. Events like this are great because you can walk down the beach and try everything side by side.

The weather was amazing last year, hopefully it is again this year.

Friday, May 6: 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 7: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
