Anyone ever kayak fish for kokanee on this lake?  Just curious as to the distances one would have to travel to get into the fish in relationship to the launches.  It is obviously big water and one would need to be conscientious of wind.

Anyone ever fish Chelan?
Fish on the right side that's where the fish are! John 21:6

I am no longer a dealer for Wavewalk but if you ever want to paddle one let me know!

I've fished it a few times.  There are fish just in front of both state parks,  but you will have to paddle around to find them.  Beautiful place to paddle around.   The kokanee don't get too big because the mysis shrimp compete for food and the mackinaw eat the kokanee too.  In the fall every stream in the area is chock full of bright red,  green headed kokanee getting ready to spawn.  They're generally 10 to 14 inches when I've seen them at spawn time.

The lake also produces rainbows,  chinook, pikeminnow, and SMB.  Supposedly lawyer fish too, but never seen one myself.
