OK -

I just HAVE TO KNOW - are we on for a spring Halibut Tourney and if so what day !

Kardinal - are we on for this year and I just missed the thread ?   I have a battery box I built a few months ago as a possible prize.

Ok, let's finalize a date.  Last two weekends in June are my choices.  Need to check weather and when I have my kid.

Weekend of the 18th is Fathers day weekend - if Ryu is still hung-Ho for fishing that might work for you ? ... and for me a great excuse to come down the peninsula and see my dad on Saturday or Sunday evening - so I think I could do that one.

The following weekend I may be out backpacking.   Good to get the day pinned to everyones calendar !

I'm in. I know Rudy usually does the trophies but was thinking we need to start an ugly hat or flag that could get passed year to year for the champ. Then again the flag would never move from Rudy's yak.

OK, let's do this.  June 18th it is.

Moderate/Large tides.  If you fish at the crack of dawn, you can go both directions.

For ease of length/weigh in, I am voting to limit it to one day this year.  If the weather is bad, we may postpone to Sunday.

We start at Sunrise end at 5pm.  That's a 12 hour day.  Quick chance for discussion till tonight here and I will open up a new thread tonight.

More details to follow!

Sounds great gentleman...I'll be there for sure, and take a friend along as well.  Looking forward to it!

Have you guys thought about a Belt Buckle for the top prize ?

That one from the crappie fest looked very cool.

Maybe ORC could get on this bandwagon too.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent
