Hello,
My Name is Dan. I live in Anchorage, AK. I am trying something new.
I love to fish and kayak therefor why not do both. I have been following Rudy on his facebook. Seem like lots of fun. I am sure I have much to learn about kayak fishing. I have purchased all the safely gear and about to purchase my Hobie.
Wish me luck and if you have any advice please let me know.
Than you.

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like you've got a lot of the deal already covered which is good! Many of us buy the kayak then buy all the safety gear... Which is probably backwards. Best of luck in finding a kayak!

Welcome!  Safety first!  I learned pretty much everything about kayak fishing from this site.  Tons of folks with great experience on similar species that we have in Alaska!

Let's fish!

Hey Dan!  Great to run into you at Alaska Raft and Kayak.  This is a great place where the merits of an PA vs an Outback vs a revo has been discussed on many occasions.  us the search function or ask any other questions you may have.  Great helpful folks here.
