I have a trip in the planning stages to go out to Hinchinbrook in August, and I'm trying to line up a boat for a family member that is going out with me. I might go down the rental path, but if I can find a solid used boat at a fair price the money might be better spent on buying over renting. My own boat is an OK Ultra 4.3, and if I buy something I'd like it to be a big water capable boat as well. OK Trident, WS Thresher or Tarpon, etc. If you have something that has been sitting around unused since you switched over to a Hobie :D, I'd be interested to hear about it. Thanks

Thanks kwake, I'll keep that in mind. The perosn coming up to fish with me might be interested in trying out a Hobie, I'll have to inquire. I'm somewhat partial to paddle boats, and I need something for about 10 days, so the economics of renting vs buying run in favor of buying something used if the price is right. But, there's not a lot of used paddle kayaks on the market up here these days, guess everybody already sold them to finance a Hobie of their own.  ;)
