Hey guys (and gals), I'm getting a thule xsporter for my Tundra.  I'm curious what kayak cradles/racks you guys have and if you like or dislike them.  I'll be doing plenty of freeway driving with them and I want them to be secure.  My kayaks aren't super heavy and I'll have no problems loading them up on top.  I'm leaning toward saddles for the security, but am also intrigued by the j cradles.  Thanks!
Denny

I like the hully rollers by Yakima. The cradles are good too, but I use the rollers to help me with loading.

I just flip them upside down and strap them to the bars. I have used cradles and hully rollers, but I found on hot days the rollers would dent in the plastic.  I corrected for this by inserting a piece of plywood which would more than span the distance between the hully roller wheels, then strapped it down. No more dents.

I am now absolutely sold on the exorbitantly priced Thule Hulavators.   I've not tried the Big Tuna yet but loading the Outback on a Ford Excursion just got a lot simpler.

+1 on the Thule Hulavators.  I can load dannybay's outback by myself on for Dodge Ram with no problems.   Yes they are expensive, but so is back and shoulder surgery  ;D
We have two.
