Is this guy joking? I left you a comment buddy, get a better job or collect bottles......better yet, spend more time with your kid. They grow up so fast, your gonna regret spending time alone when you look back in a few years. I had to sell my first car I'd held onto since I was a kid to afford mine, typical 1st world troubles

It's not a scam, he was very up front about what he was doing and  hat he wanted. He might be a fishing addicted clown with an astonishing sense of entitlement, but he's not a scammer. A scammer would be asking for money for his kids kidney transplant with a monster tearjerker of a story. I have no reason to think he is not trustworthy. Quite the opposite.

NWKA has very few rules and only a couple of guidelines.  Creating an account just to ask for money or sell something violates one of those rules.  This thread is locked.

DaveTheFisher - I know that there are at leas a dozen guys on this board who would take a newbie fishing.  More than once if that newbie was fun to fish with.  Heck, there are some who would even donate a decent used kayak to member who asks questions, contributes and shares the kayak fishing stoke.
