Welcome back!

Still all over, but generally speaking I feel deeper, except where there is structure.  Best catches in the derby was in 50 to 90 ft of water.  So 1.5 miles to 2.5 miles or so out.  They seem more shattered.  So chumming or cover lots of ground is what I plan to do next time out.

I've found that our catch rate picks up once we hit 60' of water.

Going out tomorrow to try my fish finder.  I'll let you know what I find.

I haven't been to WG for about 4 years.  I remember that as long as you didn't go on a 3-day weekend, there was never any issue on camp space on the beach.  Is that still true?  Anyone going to Seward this weekend?  We're leaving this evening for the weekend and launching out of Miller's.  Thanks!
