Hagg Lake 7/7

So 7/7 is my birthday and it's almost always been a tradition to go fishing on my birthday. I had thought about heading to Chinook bend 2 days early and trying Depoe bay, but after 5 days of camping and sleeping on a thin camping pad my 30 (almost) year old body is liking the bed at home for one more night... Anyone interested in joining me for a little bass and maybe trout trolling in the afternoon? I won't likely get out there until 8 or 9ish depending on when I get up and traffic.

I have a pair of socks that's more than 30 years old. Sheesh.

Seriously, I do. Not to mention ties.

They don't make them like Pinstriper anymore either...... Although I'm still not sure if that's s good thing or a bad thing?

Today was a nice day to be out on the lake. Got out a little later than I would have liked but still found fish, unfortunately not the species I was after, but fish nonetheless. I couldn't keep the TINY bluegill off of my lures everywhere near the dam, so I moved on to trolling for rainbows. I did well and had 5 to the boat over the span of about 4 hours, all were released and none with much size (biggest was ~14") was a good day to be out on the water though without all the power boats and skiers nearby. VERY quiet, which was nice.
