Had some friends that were up there last week on their way home from odell and they did pretty well jigging near the shorelines with spoons. One of my buddies swears by the Thomas Buoyant spoons/lures and he is either jigging that or trolling with it on a long line almost all day. I still have yet to master the art of trout jigging, but when it's on it's on. They didn't mention any specific areas, although I think they stayed at the south end?

We've stayed at the RV campground a couple of times and this is what the guide boats do:
There are two creeks coming into the south end.  One is silent creek and the other is camp creek (closer to the Pizza place).
They use bobbers (only green) and the line is as invisible as you can get it. Bait is mostly worms and some powerbait.  The boats stay in the creek bed as it goes into the lake.  Lots of fish hang out.  If one area is dead, try the other area.
We usually just check out which end the guide boats are heading and head there too.  Pizza place is great!
We haven't seen the guide boats at the north end but we did get some fish up there trolling with rapalas.

Good luck!  It's a beautiful place
