So i decided its not worth building a cart after reviewing pricing and the various problems in doing so....

So i then decided on the wheeleez deal i think...but now the question is which one fits in the hobie revolution front hatch?

mini, regular, or should i just take my chances with the hobie trax cart

I use the trax. It's nice because you just plug it in from the top behind the seat and hook the bungee over the middle bar to the milk crate after you get to the water. I bought it before i heard you shouldn't use one that slides in the scupper holes, but i got it so i use it. I may change it down the road...or not. the ends stick almost through the top of the scupper holes so the stress might be lessemed. If you do get that one just make sure the plastic caps stay on, i would glue 'em in.

It looks like the mini cart should fit in the hatch.

ya i was kinda leaning towards the mini also...because it does look like it would fit but i would hate to buy it then find out it doesn't lol...

have you ever seen anybody with the compass mounts in the front hatch?

i was thinking about that but then i wondered since it is a movable part would it get beat all to hell lol

ya after taking another look at the yak im surprised that hobie puts a compass there...if you have anything in the sail mount you can't see it and you have to cut 2 things to make it work properly

on another compass note i was looking around and found this really cool watch...im not willing to pay 400 dollars or watever it costs but it is still cool lol

i will be getting a gps/fishfinder at some point but still kinda nice to have a compass i would think...i looked out at the sound today and all i could only see a couple hundred feet...if you got any distance from shore in that you would probably get disoriented pretty easily
