Hi everyone,

My girlfriend just accepted a full time job in Bellingham so I am in the process of looking for a job in that area. I've guided in the past but more recently I've been working for Idaho fish and game doing trout research. I'm hoping to find fisheries work in the Bellingham area and was wondering if anyone had any ideas about nonprofits or other organizations to look into (besides Washington fish and wildlife). I'd really appreciate any ideas at all.

I'm looking forward to meeting some Washington anglers!

Thanks

the Texas A&M job board sometimes has postings for fisheries jobs in Washington State
http://wfscjobs.tamu.edu/?job_category=temporaryseasonal-positions

American Fisheries Society also has a job board
http://fisheries.org/employment/jobs/

Never rule out the State Employment office as well.   At least in Oregon,   Tribal groups post their job openings with the state.

Good luck.
"A venturesome minority will always be eager to get off on their own,
and no obstacle should be placed in their path;
let them take risk, for God sake, let them get lost, sun burnt, stranded, drowned,
eaten by bears, buried alive under avalanches -
that is the right and privilege of any free American."

Thanks so much, I'll definitely make a point to check those regularly
