For the budget conscious folks out there, Mythic has just released another Drysuit to market.  This one has a few other upgrades like neoprene covers over the wrist and neck latex gaskets.  You can check it out on there site here.

Mythic started out as a low price point for dry suits but prices have slowly climbed to near other popular suits.  I went with the Stohlquist from Austin Kayak, with the 15% discount for new customers is was $350 delivered.  https://www.austinkayak.com/products/14765/Stohlquist-EZ-Dry-Suit-Unisex.html

Still trying to adjust to the tight neck but it has reinforced knees and elbows and is otherwise comfortable on the water.

They still have their cheap ones too.

I have one of their suits that I bought when I first got into this addiction.  I wasn't sure it was going to stick so I went cheap (cheap for a drysuit anyways).  Now I have a Kokatat that I use and its much better.  Don't get me wrong, the Mythic works and I still have it as a spare but I given the choice to make again, I would have bought a name brand suit too.

I just figured I'd post this up for others on the fence about getting a drysuit.  😀
