Hit Homer again after a pretty decent Homer Elk's derby the week prior.

Fished one hour Friday, 8 hours Saturday, and about 3 hours on Sunday.  Kept 7 kings between 2 rods.  Biggest was maybe 15 pounds.

Not tons of fish but enough to limit out on if you fish long enough.  Average size of the fish seem to be better with a lot fewer of the smaller fish around.

We focused mainly under 40 ft deep using both Herring and coho killers which produced fish.  Kris did manage one king fishing the bottom in 135 feet of water using halibut gear.

We did manage to catch a few small halibut when we tried for them.  Nothing huge but still around.

Fished a few hours Saturday morning. Definitely a few fish around. Seemed like I had more missed strikes than normal. That said, I was using a slightly different technique for rigging my herring. The wind in the morning made trolling a little more work than normal. One direction was very fast, the other required some rigorous pedaling. Still, it was a nice way to spend the morning.

I'm hoping this Saturday morning is decent weather. Family coming for visit (out of staters) in the afternoon. I'm leaving town for a week next weekend. Will be my last chance to get a few hours of fishing in for a couple weeks.
