Went out after I got good Intel.this was the first time I have ever left work early to go fishing.the boss was feeling generous I guess. Caught 2 in less than 5 min. The first, caught in the first 50yards or so, was a big red buck that cut just fine and orange.Took a snarky comment from a guide that said "every dog has his day once in a while". Hmm OK jack whatever. Guess he didn't like being out fished. Got back to trolling and got nibbled but didn't stick. rebaited then went back through and picked up my second fish for my limit.

Don't you know you need a $70k+ sled to catch fish these days?? Nice work out there!

They get a little testy when being out fished in front of their clients.  Most of them accept kayak fishing success as common place now, but there are still a few who seem to view us as a novelty act.

Excellent job on the limit!

Thats awesome Austin! You make it sound easy but i didnt see a lot of fish being caught. Im sure those guides were feeling a little bitter & weathered out in the rain all day without a bite. Wish I hadnt of left so early so i couldve attended your clinic. Keep it up bud. This was my departing view for the morning.
