I see peeps using all sorts of clubs in their kayaks for bonking their fish.

I have a bunch of 4" x 4" x 16" tropical hard wood chunks, mostly tropical oak that I doubt I could put a wood screw through.

:idea1: Thought maybe I could get a piece turned down into a bonker.  Anyone here have a wood lathe that can turn really hard wood?

I tried to copy the pic but no go, so here is the link to a pic of my Ghetto Club
I have never used it yet, just my short Ghetto Gaff
I flattened one end of a piece of copper pipe and stuck it in the ground, poured a few old melted down weights into the pipe, added a drawer pull I had laying around for good end to hold.
 easy and cheap ;D

Looks like a solid bonker!   :o

I was just looking to put some of this wood to good use.   I have some wood that is so hard, that is sounds like chunk of aluminum when dropped on concrete.
