I've read about stealth rod holders a lot and really like the locking cam but does anyone know if it will hold a single handed fly rod? (6wt).  I know this is fairly general.

Why not use the Scotty fly rod holder?  I haven't used the Stealth, but the Scotty Orcas and Powerlock holders aren't fly-rod friendly - workable, but far from ideal. 
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Unless your 6wt. has a fighting butt it more than likely won't work with the Stealth. I'm thinking Scotty's fly rod holder too. Might give the Stealth people a call to find out for sure but just tried it out on my 8wt. and it kind of works, not by much.

Thanks for the help guys.  I have a Scotty fly rod holder that I'm selling with my pontoon boat.  I wanted to explore some more options that would fit multiple types of rods.  I just bought some from ZeeHawk so I have what I need now.

Yeah I agree with surf12foot. If you post a picture of your fly rod handle I can take a look at home and see. I haven't tried putting my fly rod in that holder yet.
