Fishing and kayaking enthusiast, recent UW grad, soon to be UW med student... currently working at the Puget sound veteran's hospital... I am spending as much time as possible out on the kayak fishing before school starts.

Would love to catch some lings (or maybe a halibut) but so far it has just been flounder! though I am not really complaining... they are awful tasty with lemon and parsley!

I look forward to getting some great tips from this forum!

Welcome!  Catching flounder looks fun.  It's on my to do list. :)
Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.

I love fishing for flounder, it is fun and you can catch 15 in a few hours. May be we should try kayak point some day for flounder. I fish in lake in the last few weeks for trout and bass, but not doing well.
