Hey man, I'm on to ya!   :toothy9:

Your better half PM'd me on RV.net saying you guys noticed my handle over here and yup, that's me.

There are some fellers here that are located up near you that I'll bet they'd be up for some fishing with ya.

Ya, my better half has posted a kajillion times on RV.net and NATCOA. I'm trying to catch up. So far, the total number of times I've posted anywhere online, including this post, is ...wait for it....2.

I've fished Hagg Lake a few times, but it was 10+ years ago. From your posts, it sounds like a great lake!

I'm hoping to try Rufus Woods over the Thanksgiving weekend. Rufus is big water so, since I've taken my Scrambler XT out only a few times, I should find out if anyone else is interested in joining me. Plus it would be great to meet some other members.

There may be a skiff of snow on the ground, but that area is well east of the crest, and pretty dry. Last year, at Thanksgiving, daytime temps were in the mid 30s, lows in the teens and 20s. A little nippy, but the fishing was worth it! :icon_thumleft:

I should probably start a new thread for this...but is anyone interested in fishing Rufus Woods during the Thanksgiving weekend? (not turkey day though, that wouldn't be well received by a certain someone, and sleeping on the couch just wrecks my back!)

There's a good chance that I will be interested. The current plan for this Sunday is that my youngest and I are going to do a scouting trip to Rufus.

Would you mind my tagging along this Sunday? I'm building a house near Okanogan so I can drive over tomorrow afternoon and then meet you at Rufus on Sunday.

By the way, I ran across this article today - http://www.heraldnet.com/article/20081026/SPORTS/710269923/1008/SPORTS02#Looking.for.trout.Go.to.Rufus.Wood.

Never mind. Just found out that tomorrow I'm going to Bremerton to adopt a dog. Apparently, the dog we have needs a playmate to improve her allegedly poor quality of life...

I'll be interested in how your scouting trip goes.

The weather forecast for today was too nasty to take out a 6yo,  :'( so we didn't go. I got about an hour on the river, late in the day, for no action.
