I've gone and confused myself looking at the regs (need to eat, not read regs).  If I have an OR license, can I launch in the Columbia on the WA side and still fish or do I need to get a WA license?
Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.

Thanks, Guys.  I was pretty sure I'd read it somewhere but couldn't find it this morning.

I keep toying with the idea of getting both as my brother lives in WA but the out of state fees make my wallet cry.  I've done a daily pass a couple of times to go out on lakes.  Plenty of water to fish in OR, but the grass is so green so to speak. :)
