I've only fished Detroit Lake w/a powerboat that I launched from Mongold (all of 2X over 10 years ago). What is the best launch location for trout/kokanee this time of year?

Thanks!
Dave

Cove Creek Campground is a nice CG if you're planning an overnight trip.  They also have a day use boat ramp and it's really close to stocker trout right off the dock.  Kokanee fishing has been a bit tough on Detroit lately, but get up early in the AM and give it a try along the south shore of Piety Island.

Green peter isn't much further for a drive and it's been putting out 11-12" Kokanee this year.  Might. E another alternative to Detroit (the Koke bite is lackluster in summer).
