Hey guys, I recently picked up a ascend fs10 from bass pro and ive taken it out a couple times now! All fresh water in lakes and slower rivers. Just catching trout and some other species. With salmon season coming up, id love to meet some other people to get out with! Salt or freshwater it doesn't matter to me.

I'd also love to get some advice on trolling lures, as well as trolling or casting flies from the yak.

So if anyone wants to get out on the water i'm game!

Hi lots of good info on this site. I'm hoping to get up there in Aug. or Sept. Maybe you could suggest places to camp and fish. I'm not "salty" yet, just lakes and slow rivers.Hoping to find some quiet salt water to try for rockfish and lingcod and maybe a salmon if lucky. I've heard about Moutcha Bay.I have Hobie Outback.
Maybe we could fish together.

Welcome! I'm over on the island, and  fish the salt exclusively so I can't recommend spots around Vancouver.
