Hello I am a new alaska resident and new to rod and reel fishing out of a kayak.  I moved up to anchorage in October for a contract on the military base and have been fishing out of a kayak in some of the anchorage area lakes for trout and enjoying the heck out of the ability to get away from crowds and laugh as trout tow me around a bit.  I really appreciate the advice I have gleaned from the board already and if anyone is looking for someone to fish with in and around anchorage please let me know
