Saw on King 5 news they've opened Elliot Bay for salmon fishing.

I'd consider this fairly hidden, but if you look at "•Expands recreational shoreline-only fishery in Marine Area 9" in the Emergency rules and click that link:
http://wdfw.wa.gov/about/regulations/emergency_rules.html
and then drop down to page 4 (see link below) you'll find statements of the floating opening and challenging definitions of when Elliot Bay is open
http://wdfw.wa.gov/about/regulations/emergency_rules/2017/wsr_17-16-169.pdf

So how easy is it for the average person to find the emergency opening of Marine Area 10 by looking up "shore fishing regulations for area 9?  That seems like some impressive camouflage...

Elliott Bay is open August 11-13 with a two salmon limit both of which can both be chinook (and chinook can be wild or hatchery).

Thanks Chromer, through my half-fast search methodology I just modified the original post,  It also seems like Elliot will be open periodically later in August, but with differing boundary lines.

It also looks like the first weekend is the only time there is chinook retention in Elliot Bay.
