Hi! Joining this forum to learn more about fishing from a kayak. I fish (both gear and fly) and am interested in doing so in a less shorebound way. Interested to see what you all have to say about that! And if you have a boat you don't want anymore, maybe I could give it a good home.

I have owned boats for years,my last was a 32 foot SeaRay . I got my Outback in April of 2016 and I have enjoyed it more than any other one. By joining this forum and listening to the experienced kayaker,s I have learned how and where to fish. The people that contribute here are some of the most generous and kind people I have ever been a part of. I am finally getting to where I think I can contribute to the game.So I finally have started to post.

ballard brad has a decked out hobie for sale, but I don't know what your budget is. If you're just looking to see if you are interested in fishing from a kayak, I would recommend trolling craigslist for sit on top kayaks. They start getting cheap the shittier our weather gets. Otherwise, you'll need safety equipment for cold water if you're looking to hit up blackmouth or really any water from this time of year on.
