I've worn a pair of Kokatat dry pants (that extend to socks) for many years, but despite having them repaired, my feet  still get a little wet. Just the feet area. It is not moisure buildup. I just deal with it, but really dont like wet feet.

The rest of the pants keep me dry, so instead of buying another pair of dry pants, I was thinking of buying waterproof socks. Any recommendations? If tjat doesn't work out, I will probably buy another pair of dry pants. Thx.

Call Kokatat and inquire about the cost of repairing the leaks in the dry socks.  Kokatat does a really good job of patching leaks in dry gear.  You will need to decide whether it would make more sense to put the shipping and repair costs into a new pair of dry pants.

I’ve looked at these but have no knowledge beyond the rating, but price seems right and they rate high.

I use Chotta mukluks for dry pants and the Kolkata and stay try (usually) but they’re a bit pricy. Picked mine up at a great price from a friend leaving the area.

All of the breathable fabrics will leak water under enough pressure. I'm used to having a damp butt after sitting on a wet seat all day, and if I get water in my boots, my socks will be damp at the end of the day.  Damp as in not completely dry, but not wet, and never enough to notice until I'm peeling off the layers.

I guess it depends on how wet you're getting. If only a bit damp, waterproof socks might help.  If noticeably wet, you might want to think about new pants.

I used to wear Selaskinz socks under leaky waders.  Had them over 20 years and they're still gtg.
