Heading down in the morning to fish the Bay.  Put in at Garibaldi drop some crab pots and work the Ghost hole and Coast Guard area.

Anyone else heading down?  Anyone been down this week post the storm?

I fished Tillamook Bay on Tuesday (from a power boat). Quite some boats trolling the ghost hole but we put in at Memaloose. Water levels were down but was color was still like chocolate. Visibility less than a foot. From the road it seemed like the Ghost Hole looked a little better. No fish for us or anyone else we spoke to. But that was Tuesday. The Kilchis had already turned green (with tons of people fishing) and even the Wilson had already changed color, although it was still milky. By now I expect Tillamook Bay is in great shape again.

Good luck tomorrow!

I've never been on the Nestucca. Could you recommend a good place to launch from? Thanks!

Depends on how you want to fish. Right now I think a lot of people are launching around Hebo and fishing the river. Hebo store has a shuttle service and they will point out the options. It’s likely that will be a parade of drift boats tomorrow and seems stressful.
I’m going to go against my better judgment and trying the tide water tomorrow even though it’s likely most of the fish have moved up river. I plan to put in at the boat launch at Bob Straub in PC. I’ll troll around there for a bit then probably troll up as far as I can or until I start seeing action.
Are you going to hit it up?
