Oasis easily handles my two 32" collapsing ProMar traps and a standard Danielson box.  They weight less and move around much less than my 80# dog.

lower Siuslaw (A4 to A7 area) had plenty of big loaded crabs, third pot I pulled had 4 large keepers in it, I had my limit on board before the high tide at 9:30am.  not sure if this is due to the delayed commercial season or lack of rain but no complaints.

pulled the pots a few more times and had 12 crab that were at least 6.25", home by 11am.

WOW,   super nice looking crab,   yum!

and no obstacle should be placed in their path;
let them take risk, for God sake, let them get lost, sun burnt, stranded, drowned,
eaten by bears, buried alive under avalanches -
that is the right and privilege of any free American."

Great looking eye pro.  Is that to prevent cornea damage from an agressive claw? All the recent crab posts make me want to go costal.

yes, these December crabs are nasty.  actually, I got tired of the coastal mist/drizzle getting on my glasses, which I then smear fishing scent on trying to clean them, plus the goggles repel negative waves... ;D

Don't show the pics to any hipsters, Steampunk kayaking crabing might become the next big thing in Portland.  Congrats on the chunky crab haul.
