That looks like it would be an expensive spin cycle as it snaps in half.

It looks like this pedal-powered catamaran would be about the same size and weight as the Hobie Pro Angler 14, but with more deck area.  It could be a good choice for people who like to stand up when fishing.  The seat looks scary high; hopefully it can be lowered in rough conditions.  Most people would probably transport it on a trailer.  It looks like it would be a beast to paddle even a short distance.  I don't know what the plan is for getting it away from and back to shore; perhaps a pole? Or oarlocks and oars?  With oars, it could be used like a mini drift boat or a big pontoon on rivers.  If it makes it into production, it'll be interesting to see how it handles rough water.
