Let’s make a Kayak Meetup some where between Vancouver, Bc and Seattle! Let’s do it some time in Ling and rockfish season. Let’s plan this together.

It's pretty easy to walk carted kayaks onto the WA state ferries out of Anacortes.  One vehicle coming along could carry a lot of gear with some planning.  It's a bit of a hike to the north end of Orcas and I've never been part of a Yak-train, but it could be interesting.  Sucia is a 2.5 mile trip north of Orcas Island, not always for the faint of heart and a good place to cross in bunches rather than singles.  There's a small marina there and a launch point right at the north end of the Orcas airport.

Very interested if we can get some dates/locations nailed down.  Make a weekend out of it with some camping?

I would be interested the only thing is I’m not quite sure in I am capable of that far of a distance. I have only started this year and have a Ascend 12t.

I am also very interested in the trip! It’s been a long time since I’ve fished off Sucia. Lots of current and wind, but great fishing!

Just want to note that as interesting as this sounds, I'm likely less than a 50/50 shot at best.

I was just offering some framework for a trip.  Someone might want to check with the WFG to see if there is any anticipation of projected dates for a ling season in the area.  I'm assuming rock fish would still be closed, but...  Pairing a ling season with a salmon run would be fun, trolling over and back
